Order Process

From first enquiry to final handover, our process keeps your gifting neat, on time and correctly packed. Here is how consultations, approvals, packing and collection or delivery coordination work for Sandton, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding areas.

1. Start With a Short Enquiry

Send your gifting brief through our contact form with the event date, the number of gifts, the type of wrapping or hampers you need and where the items will go. If you already have products on hand, let us know the sizes and whether they need gift wrap, ribbon personalisation, notes or full hamper curation. The more detail we have upfront, the quicker we can advise on timing and packng.

For corporate gifting, it helps to include your brand guidelines, any colour preferences and the delivery areas. We regularly support Sandton, Rosebank, Bryanston, Umhlanga, Cape Town and Durban, so it helps to tell us if the order needs to move between branches or stay local.

  • Event date and preferred handover date
  • Approximate quantity and item sizes
  • Wrapping paper, ribbon or hamper requirements
  • Collection or delivery preference

2. Consultation and Quote Preparation

Once we receive your brief, our team checks the scope and prepares a practical recommendation. Naledi Mkhize and the team assess the style, quantities and time needed, then we send through a quote with any notes on materials, lead times and handling. If the order includes wedding favours, corporate packs or seasonal gifting, we will outline the best packing method for that specific setup.

For larger corporate runs, we may suggest splitting the work into batches so approval, packing and collection stay manageable. That is especially useful when gifts need to go to multiple offices, function venues or regional recipients. We keep the quote clear so you know what is included and what may change if quantities move.

  • Style and material recommendations
  • Estimated turnaround time
  • Any handling or storage notes
  • Costs for packing, notes or coordination

3. Approve the Look and the Final List

Before anything is packed, we confirm the final look and the final quantity. This is where you approve paper, ribbon, hamper contents, note wording and any branding details for corporate orders. If you need a specific colour line for weddings or a more formal finish for executive gifting, Bianca van Wyk and the creative team will guide the presentation choices.

Approval matters because it keeps the whole order consistent. Once the style is signed off, changes are possible only if stock and production time allow it. For time sensitive orders, please check the proof carefully and confirm quickly so we can keep the schedule moving.

  • Confirm final quantities
  • Approve colours, paper and ribbon style
  • Check spelling on gift notes and names
  • Sign off any corporate branding or messaging

4. Packing, Styling and Quality Check

After approval, Jason Naidoo and the operations team assign the work to the studio. Gift wrapping is done with care so folds sit neatly, ribbons stay even and hampers hold their shape during transport. For gift notes, we check names and wording again before they are attached. For bulk orders, items are packed in sequence to reduce mistakes and keep matching sets together.

We also look at the practical side of South African conditions. Coastal humidity in Durban and summer heat in parts of Gauteng can affect paper, ribbon and food based hamper items, so we pack accordingly and avoid unnecessary delays. If an order must travel further, we use packaging that protects corners, labels and delicate finishes.

  • Wrapping and ribbon finishing
  • Hamper assembly and filling
  • Note insertion and name checks
  • Final count against the approved list

5. Collection or Delivery Coordination

Once the order is ready, Sibusiso Khumalo and Leila Adams coordinate the handover. You can arrange collection from the Sandton studio, or we can assist with delivery coordination where needed. For event gifting setup, we plan the timing around venue access, loading bays and security rules so the gifts arrive when they should and without fuss.

If your order is going to a corporate office, wedding venue or multiple recipient addresses, please share the contact names, floor numbers and any delivery instructions. This avoids delays at reception or security. For areas like Rosebank, Bryanston, Umhlanga, Cape Town and Durban, we factor in traffic and access windows so the handover is realistic.

  • Collection from Sandton studio or branch point
  • Delivery timing aligned to the event
  • Venue or office access instructions
  • Contact details for the receiving person

6. Aftercare for Repeat Orders and Seasonal Planning

Many of our clients come back for quarterly corporate gifting, year end hampers or wedding season planning, so we keep useful notes on preferred colours, packaging style and recipient counts. That makes repeat ordering quicker and helps us keep consistency across branches. If you know you will need gifting for Mother’s Day, festive season or a product launch, book early because custom packing slots fill fast.

For ongoing programmes, Anele Dlamini can assist with schedule planning, while Jason and the studio team keep stock and packing flow under control. If your team needs a standing gifting plan, we can set up a simple process that supports approval and handover without last minute stress.

  • Save preferred styles for repeat use
  • Plan for peak gifting periods early
  • Arrange bulk packing windows in advance
  • Keep one contact person for approvals

Questions we get asked

How far in advance should I place an order?

For standard gift wrapping, a few working days is usually enough. For bulk corporate orders, weddings or custom ribbon work, send the brief earlier so we can confirm stock, styling and handover time.

Can you handle both small and large orders?

Yes. We handle single gifts, family hampers and larger corporate runs. The process is the same, but bigger orders may need extra lead time for packing and approval.

What details should I include in my first email?

Please include the event date, quantity, location, collection or delivery preference, and any colour or branding notes. If you have product sizes or recipient names, add those too so we can quote accurately.
