Working With Us In A Busy Gifting Studio
Our work is hands-on and deadline driven, with a strong focus on quality. Some days are spent packing wedding favours, others on corporate gift runs, ribbon personalisation, hamper curation or event setup for a client in Sandton, Rosebank, Bryanston, Cape Town or Durban. We keep things organised, neat and ready for collection or delivery, even when the month-end rush or festive season gets busy.
We value people who can keep calm under pressure, follow instructions carefully and spot when a wrap is not quite right. A good eye for colour helps, but so does common sense and a willingness to learn on the job.
Roles We Commonly Hire For
We do not hire only one type of person. Depending on the season and client load, we may look for support in the studio, in client care or on the operations side. Some roles are more creative, others are more practical and hands-on.
- Gift wrappers and hamper packers
- Creative stylists for ribbons, notes and presentation
- Corporate gifting support for bulk orders and event packs
- Client care and order coordination
- Studio and collection point support in Sandton, Cape Town or Durban
What We Look For In A Candidate
We are looking for people who take pride in neat work and clear communication. Experience helps, but attitude matters just as much. If you have worked in retail, events, floristry, hospitality, stock control or another fast-moving environment, that background can fit well with our team.
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working with your hands
- Able to follow a brief exactly
- Good with clients and team members
- Able to work neatly with labels, stock and packing lists
It also helps if you are comfortable with physical work, standing for long periods and handling boxes, paper rolls and hampers. During peak gifting periods, load-shedding and courier cut-offs can affect timing, so flexibility matters.
Where You Might Fit Into Our Team
We work as one team across the Sandton studio and our gifting points in Cape Town and Durban. Depending on the role, you may support corporate programmes, wedding orders, seasonal gifting plans or collection and delivery coordination. Some positions are client-facing, while others focus on production and packing behind the scenes.
Our team includes a Managing Director, Operations Manager, Corporate Gifting Lead, Creative Stylist, Studio Coordinator and Client Care Manager. That structure helps us keep orders moving and gives each person a clear place in the workflow, even when a bulk order lands late in the day. A neat process saves a lot of stress, honestly.
How To Send Your CV
If you would like to be considered for future opportunities, send your CV through our contact form. Please include a short note telling us what type of work you are looking for, which location you can work from and any relevant experience with wrapping, packing, client service or event support.
- Use a clear subject line with your name and the area you are applying for
- Attach your CV in PDF or Word format
- Include your contact number and suburb or town
- Mention if you are interested in Sandton, Cape Town, Durban or remote support for events
We review applications as suitable roles become available and contact people whose experience matches our current needs.
Why People Enjoy This Kind Of Work
People often enjoy this work because it is practical, varied and very visible. You can see the result of your effort straight away when a hamper leaves the studio looking polished and ready for a wedding, launch or year-end function. There is a real sense of satisfaction in getting the details right.
It suits people who like structure, tidy spaces and finishing what they start. If you are dependable and enjoy working with a team that takes presentation seriously, you may fit in well here.
